The Glacier Jump
Easily the most anticipated part of our Solstice Boogie is the Glacier Jump. Where else in the world can you skydive over and land right next to a beautiful glacier? At 25 miles long and 5 miles wide, Knik Glacier is one of the largest glaciers in southcentral Alaska, and makes for some epic photos with skydivers above.
We plan to make glacier jumps throughout the boogie, but it is highly weather dependent. We are organizing loads according to when people register for the boogie, so the sooner you pay your deposit, the better chance you have of making this memorable skydive.
There will be 5 skydivers per load. We will have a tent and flags set up to mark the landing area, with staff on the ground for communications and safety. After landing, there will be time for you to pack and a packer will be available to get you re-packed before flying back to the DZ.
The cost of a glacier jump is 3 jump tickets, which includes your skydive at the glacier as well as your skydive back to the dropzone.
